In this podcast we’ll explore the issue of extraterrestrial life.  UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) have long been the subject of interest and speculation here on planet Earth, but with the recent release by the U.S. government of previously hidden and/or classified videos and testimony concerning such phenomena (now known as UAPs, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), interest in this area has skyrocketed.  Such interest (and, admittedly, it is an amazingly interesting topic), and the conclusions of many in this field can cause a great deal of consternation for those of Biblical faith, and so a truly Biblical exploration of this topic is in order.

During my years as a pastor in San Diego County, I had the privilege of being a law enforcement chaplain for two incredible agencies over the course of nine years. During those years I went through an academy with the officers, trained on the mat, in the classroom and on the range with the officers, spent over 1,000 hours on ride-alongs with the officers, and even spent some time with the detectives who investigate cases. I’ve been to their funerals, I’ve married them and I’ve buried their children, and I have nowhere on planet Earth ever seen the men and women who are their equal. Continue reading →
